About the job

As Finance Officer, you will work closely with the finance and accounting teams to oversee and manage all financial transactions at the company. Acting in support of the finance manager, you will provide financial assistance to our team by playing a role in preparing budgets, reconciling records and receipts, processing invoices, and resolving interoffice financial disputes. You'll also be the point of contact for other departments when it comes to all things financial. Additionally, you will prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ultimately, you'll enable the team to make the right decisions to grow the business!

What you'll be doing

  • Post incoming invoices and credit notes.

  • Create approval protocols and check approvals.

  • Prepare and execute creditor payments.

  • Reconcile payments.

  • Prepare weekly cash flow overviews and related reports.

  • Provide financial support for project-related processes.

  • Review monthly costs in the general ledgers.

  • Manage the administration of accounts-related emails

  • Create various journal entries and corrections.

  • Post payroll transactions.

  • Reallocate internal costs quarterly.

  • Perform intercompany bookings.

  • Supervise and guide interns.

About you

You have:

  • Minimum HBO (Higher Professional Education) thinking level.

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Experience with technical applications and tools, such as Excel and SAP.

  • Structured and highly systematic work approach.

  • Familiarity with the fashion and textile industry.

  • Proficiency in English.

Patta was founded by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume ‘Gee’ Schmidt. Both were instrumental in the Dutch hip-hop and nightlife community in the 90s and early 2000s—Edson as a DJ and Gee as an MC and event host.
