Internships usually run from August till January and February till July and . Both internships for school and for work experience are possible.  We don't hire for interns for a shorter period then 5 months so please keep that in mind when applying.

Amsterdam Store Intern

As a store intern you will be part of Patta's Amsterdam store team. You'll be supporting the store staff with the day-to-day activities.

Your tasks include:

•  Sales

• Assisting customers

• Advising customers with products

• Keeping the store and stockroom tidy

• Receive and process shipments
  

IT Integration Intern

Patta is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Project Intern to join our dynamic team in the Netherlands. As an IT Project Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects aimed at enhancing our IT infrastructure, with a focus on API creation and implementation, utilizing building platforms provided by Patta and dedicated teaching hours from our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, training partners, and cross-functional teams to identify and define project opportunities related to API creation and implementation within the Patta ecosystem.

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.

• Solution Design: Contribute to the design and development of API solutions, leveraging building platforms provided by Patta and utilizing dedicated teaching hours from our partners to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

• Project Implementation: Assist in the implementation of API projects, including coding, testing, and deployment, while adhering to best practices and quality standards.

• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews, to facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer.

• Training and Support: Receive dedicated teaching hours from our partners to enhance technical skills and receive guidance on project implementation, as well as provide support and training to end-users on API-related systems and processes.

 Web Developer/Designer Intern

Patta is seeking a highly motivated and creative Web Developer/Designer Intern to join our IT team. As a Web Developer/Designer Intern, you will play a crucial role in finding and implementing areas of improvement in the current web design, development, and content management practices utilized for our online web store on Shopify.

Potential Responsibilities:

• Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of the current web design, development tools, and content management practices used for our Shopify-based online web store to identify an area for enhancement and optimization that you will focus on during your internship.

• Implementing Design Enhancements: Collaborate with the e-commerce, customer success teams and external partners to implement design/process improvements and user interface enhancements on the Shopify platform, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly online shopping experience.

• Enhancing Functionality: Identify opportunities in a specific area to enhance the functionality of the online web store, such as optimizing navigation, improving site performance, integrating new features or third-party applications to meet user needs and business objectives.

• Content Management Optimization: Streamline content management processes and workflows, including product listings, descriptions, and multimedia assets, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across the platform.

• Front-end Development: Utilize your web development skills in  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid to implement design changes, develop custom features, and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of the website.

• Graphic Design Integration: Work closely with the design team to integrate visually engaging graphics, banners, and other visual elements into the website design, aligning with Patta's brand identity and aesthetic standards.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of website features and functionalities to ensure optimal performance, usability, and adherence to quality standards before deployment.

• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging web technologies, design trends, and industry best practices, and propose innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the online shopping experience and drive business growth.
